Peter Mcloud
Haven Insurance Group’s Commercial Lines Vice President, Peter McLoud, is a former small business owner with over 15 years of insurance experience. While attending Georgia State University he developed a passion for helping other young entrepreneurs. Following graduation, he sold his commercial cleaning business and accepted a position at Progressive Insurance Company where he developed a deep understanding of the insurance industry and learned the importance of exceptional customer service. Peter later moved into a commercial claims role at Zurich Financial Services handling litigated claims for Fortune 100 companies before accepting a sales role within the company.
While Peter has a variety of experience within the insurance industry he feels that his true strength lies in helping businesses protect their past investments and future profits. Peter eventually decided to leave corporate insurance for Haven Insurance Group so that he could work for his customers instead of shareholders. Peter and his wife live in Cabbagetown where they volunteer with multiple non-profit organizations and are frequently found walking their German Shepherd mix down the Beltline. In his free time Peter writes for multiple travel blogs regarding adventurous travel.
Peter has helped many different types of businesses, but he has focuses in the automotive industry, technology, and commercial real estate.
